Where Have I Been for the Past Four Days?!?

Where have I been for the past four days? That's what many people have been asking. Well, please forgive me for "disappearing" without alerting you, but I have been very busy getting prepared to take a vacation out west (west of Michigan). Yes, I'm going to places like Yellow Stone, the Tetons, and Mount Rushmore. I'm going to other places too, those are just the places off the top of my mind. To follow where (I think) I'm going in my travels, double click the "highly-scientific" map below.

Fortunately, I will be able to update you (with my own pictures) when I get back! That's right, I finally got a digital camera! I wonder what I could do with this opportunity...

Now, I have some other things to take care of. See you in three weeks. While I'm gone, please visit Dcaf's blog, http://thegodisgreatblog.blogspot.com/. He will be a good substitute for me.

Hammer out...!

GOD bless you...

Peace be with you...

Keep your faith limitless...

And don't forget to study the Bible and pray!

30th Fifth Third River Bank Run

It's my favorite time of year again! May 12 is this year's 30th Annual Fifth Third River Bank Run! I've been training a lot for this one! I'm doing the 5k (five kilometers... 3 1/2 miles).
My time last year was 23 minutes... a few weeks ago I timed my self to see how I would do and I got 21 minutes. So if I add the last three weeks and how much faster I run during the actual thing, I should be able to cut my time to... 18 maybe 17 minutes.
I'll be keeping this verse from the Holy Bible in mind while I run:
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
~Philippians 3:14
GOD bless you.
Peace be with you.

Are You Going to Heaven?

To take my "Are You Going to Heaven?" quiz, double click this link below:
Please read what your result says. I'm going to get a lot of controversy if everyone skips that part... at least it's good publicity, I guess.
GOD bless you all
Peace be with you

Belief or Expierince?

Many people say that Christianity is just blind faith, or a belief.
I believe differently.

Yes, to non-saved people, Christians probably do seem to just throw away everything and believe in GOD, and a Savior, JESUS CHRIST. But real Christians, the ones who have accepted JESUS, shouldn't be swayed by this skeptic view. You see, true CHRIST followers have had more in their religeon. That more is expierince.

Christians do need to have a lot of faith to believe GOD's message and then go along with it, but once someone takes that leap, they truly expierince GOD's love in their life. They know what it's like to finally be accepted and loved. Still don't understand? (You probably do, but this will make it more interesting). I'll throw in a short story... a parable.

"A little boy was with his mother. She was ironing laundry. She told her son to never touch the iron because it was very hot. The boy believed his mother so he did not touch the iron while she was around. Soon, however, the mother left the room, leaving the boy alone near the iron. The boy reached out a touched the iron. He snapped his hand back in pain; Now not only did he believe the iron was hot, he knew the iron was hot because he had expierinced it's heat."

When you expierince GOD's love for the first time, it leaves an impact on your soul. It is life changing. It is something that stays on someone for the rest of their life... That is the true expierience of JESUS CHRIST.

GOD bless you all.
Peace be with you.

GOD's In Control; Give Your Problems To HIM And HE Will Make It Right

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
1st John 4:18
If you truly love GOD, why are you so afraid?
GOD bless you all.
Peace.

Ecclesiastes 3

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
A Time for Everything

1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

Your Invincible, But You Can't Do It?

It's always funny (or sad) to hear Christians say that they can't do something. Aren't they suppose to be the Spirit filled child of GOD, who can do all things through HIM? Why do Christians moan and groan when they don't think they can do something? I mean, GOD created everything, gave life to everything, and can do anything HE wants to for you or Himself. HE's invincible and unstoppable, but still Christians doubt HIM. The Bible says:
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
Philippians 4:13

GOD is all-powerful, and through HIM you can do all things. Why doubt GOD by doubting yourself? GOD even showed us how powerful HE is by raising JESUS from the dead. We can do anything and everything through HIM. We don't have to worry about those 'impossible' challenges in our lives, because if we truly love and believe in GOD, HE will provide.

A step in making your relationship with GOD stronger is to wipe out everything in your mind that says you can't do something. You need to concentrate on GOD's never-ending abilities and trust that HE will provide for you. Trust that you can do all things through HIM.

GOD bless you all.
Peace be with you during this Easter season.

It's Good to Be A Christian!

A lot of times, Christians don't realize how good they have it! I have made a list of 5 reasons why it is good to be a Christian!

1. GOD always provides. We never have to worry about how things will work out. We know that GOD always has a plan for our lives. Even if we have no money or job or anything, GOD always gives us what we need if we seek HIM first! We have everything we want or need!

2. We have GOD's protection. What can a person do to us if we have GOD? What? Kill us? That won't work. We'll just go to heaven with JESUS and they will still be here on this earth. And GOD will keep us safe anyway... if we don't want to die then. We're basicly invincible! That's why no one has been able to succesfully crush Christianity. We are eternal!

3. We never have to be lonely, because we know there is a GOD who loves us more than anything. A GOD who gave HIS own SON for us. Even if we are in the valley of the shadow of death, GOD comforts us and gives us no fear! HE has perfect love for us. And that is why HE never leaves us or forsakes us.

4. We always have hope. We know that everything that happens to us is from GOD, who has a great plan in our lives. Even if we are losing today, GOD garenties we will be winning tomorrow! GOD gives us success. And we can always keep on going when we know that someday, we will be with our Creator and Savior in heaven.

5. We have wisdom. Since we fear and believe in GOD, HE blesses us with wisdom and understanding without us even knowing it. That is why most (wise) people rather listen to what a Christian philospoher has to say, then some partying celebrity. We have good values and we seem to know what we are talking about through our lives. The fear of the LORD is the begining of wisdom!

I quoted a lot of Bible verses in the paragraphs above. I thought it would be to confusing if I told you where I put them. Anyway, there is so many more differnt reasons why it is good to be a Christian. GOD is a total blessing to us.

GOD bless you all.
Peace.
Your seravnt,
RC Hammer
(P.S. Not very many people have noticed the Bible polls on my side bar. Just scroll down and you should see them (to the right). I would really like to hear your opinion. I would also like to hear you comments. Please respond.)

Ever since I got my Google acount, it wouldn't let me update I Am Who I Am. I tried to fix it but I couldn't figure out how. So I decided to simply make a sequel to I Am Who I Am.

This is the sequel where I will continue what I Am Who I Am started. Please hang on while I start fixing up this site. The other posts will come shortly.

And as for I Am Who I Am: The Hits; I can't get into that site either. So I suggest you don't go there.

If you want to go to I Am Who I Am, the adress is:
