Reckless Words...

Many people make others feel bad without even knowing (some do know, I guess). People most of the time don't mean to hurt other people's feelings, but they do with whatever rude comment they say. Then the person (who was insulted) feels really bad. It is typical for them to get angry and take it out on someone else. Then they hurt that person's feeling and it keeps on going in a pattern that was started by the original person, who started the insults. That is a sin that causes many more to sin... and that's bad. The Bible says:

Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
Proverbs 12:18

It is true that insults leave an effect on people that kind of feel like a sword, in your soul. People have to start watching what they say. When people get used to speaking recklessly, they become foolish and cause many people to sin. The slightest word could make someone have anger and hatred that was never there before. For example; Once, when I was playing basketball with some friends, one of them (my friend) tried to catch a pass from his teammate. He missed it, and the person who passed it to him said that if he was going to get a pass, he should catch it. I know it wasn't much of an insult, but it basically ruined the person who tried to catch its whole day. I don't even think the guy who insulted him was trying to be mean. But he was foolish.

The verse above says that the tongue of the wise brings healing. The healing is compliments to the person who was insulted. Now pay attention to this.Wouldn't you agree that the wise speak the word of the LORD? The Bible later says that:

...The word of the LORD is sharper than any double-edged sword...
Hebrews 4:12

The word of the LORD (compliments) is stronger than any reckless, double-edged sword. Don't you see? When you say aggressive and mean things to people, you cut them deep down. But when you compliment people and bless them with the word of GOD, you heal them and give them strength to live on. How can you even begin to be nice to the people you love if you are mean to others? Your love would be incomplete. But GOD is nice and loves everyone (even those who hate HIM), completely. If you want to be a follower of GOD, then you must watch what you say and be kind to all people.
I know, this post is extremely long , but it is also extremely powerful. If you are just skipping through my blog and decided not to read this because of the length, I encourage you to change your mind. Please read this post!
GOD bless you all.

Thanks, Bella. I believe that we should try to keep the Earth... clean, just to show respect to GOD's creation, but I don't think we have to worry about Global Warming destroying us. Like I said before, GOD probably wouldn't let the world over heat... HE controls everything, even the sun.

I don't mind the long comments either...

Hi DCaf. Even though Michael Savage's web site is kind of brutal... He's just showing us what the enemy is like. I know you didn't mean it that way though...

I was going to burn you a P.O.D. CD to see if you liked it, but I guess my question is answered! I like a lot of their songs (like: Boom, Youth of the Nation, Roots in Your Stereo, Goodbye for Now, Satelite, and more.)

Now for your question. I'll just give you everything I know on this topic; It's pretty broad (if that's how you spell it).

OK, well, remember when I said that most Christians believe that the Earth is 6,000 years old; 4,000 before JESUS, 2,000 after. GOD created the dinosaurs on the same day HE created animals; the 6th day. So dinosaurs can basicly be classified as animals in the Bible. Dinosaurs were around before the flood (Noah’s story) and when GOD told Noah to bring animals on the boat, HE was talking about dinosaurs too. Now this is the tricky part… before the flood, there was more air pressure and oxygen because it had never rained before, ever. Basicly, the Earth was in a ‘dome‘, so to speak, that kept a lot more air pressure and oxygen in. During the flood, was the first time GOD broke open the ‘dome’ , causing rain. This made there be less air pressure and oxygen… and since the dinosaur’s lungs were used to that kind of pressure, it was harder for them to breath. That’s why all of the dinosaurs died… and that’s why humans don’t live so long anymore. I know a scientist who had a tank of piranahs. They are normally suppose to be a certain size, but the scientist increased the oxygen levels and the air pressure in the tank, and the piranahs grew about 6 inches larger. He later made a ‘room’ with increased oxygen and air pressure and had some humans go in it for a few minutes. The humans hair (that used to be gray) turned to it’s normal color when the person was younger. My point is, GOD created the dinosaurs and they were around from Adam, all the way untill they sometime died after the flood. At least some of them. Here’s the suprising part: There are still some dinosaurs today. Scientist just deny it. I wish I could explain everything I said a little bit more, but this already way to long. There is plenty more things I could have added.

I hope I answered your question.

GOD bless you all.
Peace.
